We booked Villa Athena for my 40th Birthday celebrations with family and friends and it lived up to all expectations and more. From the booking the Luxury Villas on Crete team were every so helpful, offering early check in from 10:00 and late check to suit our needs, due to no other occupancy immediately before and after our stay. The pictures of the villa on the website do not do it justice, the place is large and spacious with all modern conveniences needed to be a home from home. Lots of different seating areas to escape one and other if wanted. All rooms air-conditioned to escape the extreme temperatures we had when we holidayed. The outside pool, bbq and bar area were another highlight, many a night spent enjoying the evening heat. Gardener also came regularly and cleaned the BBQ - added bonus. The lovely port town of Sisy was a 10 minute walk, enough bars and restaurants to keep it peaceful but enough to eat somewhere different each time we dined out. 2 supermarkets also with all necessity's. Larger one in Malia with a Fishmonger next door. Should we visit Crete again any time we will definitely be using Luxury Villas on Crete
