" Having once previously visited Crete we were keen to return to a beautiful island with stunning scenery and wonderful friendly people. We were looking for something special and came across the  'Luxury Villas on Crete' website. This site was very professional in its look and feel and it was easy to navigate. Upon making an enquiry and throughout the booking process the ladies at Luxury Villas on Crete couldn't have been more helpful. Replies to any contact I made was very quick and informative and payment was made easy with gentle reminders of approaching due dates.We selected villa Apoi which is one of four villas within the group called Adeste Villas. This was a very well equipped, well presented luxury villa and included some of the essentials such as unlimited air con, as well as nice touches such as use of a local mobile phone, and use of a Ipad mini. The vista's over Souda Bay are excellent and the sunsets gorgeous. The location is also great for local shops and Taverna's, beeches and Chania.The villa was very comfortable with its own pool and a very warm personal welcome from Jon, who showed us around and was available to answer questions and give advice. The welcome pack was also extensive with fruit, wine, milk, butter, eggs, bread and of course Raki. there were dishwasher tablets and washing powder should you want it. The villa was maintained daily by Jon and his team of two ladies who made beds and cleaned bathrooms, just like in a high standard hotel. However non of this was intrusive.The villa itself was first class, with high quality furniture, fittings, bed lining towels and robes and slippers.The only suggestion I would have, and these are minor - that whilst I don't go on  holiday to watch TV, with flat screens in every room perhaps access to some UK channels would be a benefit. An additional bolt to the front door for security whilst you are in residence, as the front door is opened via a hotel type key card so a physical bolt make provide extra reassurance when you are at home.All in all a first class villa being operated on the style of a 5 star hotel. A wonderful holiday supported by the great people at Luxury Villas in Crete, and Adeste Villa's, we will be returning"
