Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the entire team: Yorgos, Irene and Natasa (one of the owners and responsible for the wonderful concierge service). We were quickly shown to the rooms and the many facilities, but from the moment we stepped in we set our eyes to the pool area: although it is not the biggest pool you will find, the exteriors resembled those of a luxury hotel with large stone tiles and expensive teak furniture. (The kids loved the pool toys as well!) The iPad provided for free was preloaded with guide boooks, great music (looooved the selection) and travel magazines we devoured… The welcome basket was one of the best I have received – we did not have to go the supermarket for some days and since we were all children free we received a special signature welcome cocktail made of prosecco and bitter almond juice.I personally enjoyed more the jacuzzi area: it is not next to the pool but on the top floor terrace, thus enjoying privacy and breathtaking views of Souda Bay and the White Mountains. Villa Apoi does not simply offer a beautiful setting for your vacation: without being intruding, the staff provides excellent guidance, a 24/7 online concierge service that booked excursions, restaurant tables for us and even ordered in meals – hot and yummy- from a local restaurant .Finally, upon our departure Natasa offered to the ladies of the groups a set of chic handmade accessories I am planning to wear for the rest of the summer! Thank you, guys for the effort!
