First of all, Constantine,(the owner) is the most gracious gentleman. He met us and showed us around upon our arrival.  He drove us around to local restaurants, showed us where to pick up groceries, etc.  He joined us for dinner on our last night……we had the amazing Eleni cook a traditional Greek meal for us two times during the week.  I highly recommend that you book her to cook for you.  The two nights having dinner at home were probably our favorite evenings.  As for the house, Vlla Octo is a dream.   The living areas (both inside and out) are clean, modern, and comfortable.  Every detail is well thought out…..from the interior living area that features a custom sectional and an indoor dining area.  However, we never turned on a TV or sat inside for any meal.  There is an amazing patio area with a covered pavilion that has a large dining area with a custom banquet.  We loved hanging out there.  There is a beautiful infinity pool that faces the ocean. You can watch the sun rise from the pool or from the master bedroom.   And, the “secret” underground room is an amenity right out of a James Bond movie!!  (I won’t tell what is underground…..better for it to be a surprise (like it was for us)!). Did I mention Frida?  Frida  (the whirling dervish) dog who came to visit a few times with a great big smile on her face!  She lives just below Villa Octo and she entertained us a number of times.  Our visit could not have been better.  I highly recommend Villa Octo and also Luxury Villas on Crete (who made everything simple and easy for us).
