We found our dream villa in Crete through Luxury Villas. The entire experience was memorable. It started with the help from Eva at Luxury Villas who was incredibly patient and helpful. We were a group of eight from ages 2 to 84 and had innumerable questions. The team at Luxury Villas were professional and friendly and helped answer all questions and assuage all concerns. We had booked a car through a global car rental company and just two days before arrival discovered that it was a car with manual transmission and underpowered for Crete’s steep hills. Luxury Rentals found us a great car that met our criteria and a very competitive price in the midst of the busy holiday season.Closer to our date of travel, Luxury Villas introduced us to the owners, Antonis and Anastasia.  As we got closer to our arrival, they reached out for requests for food etc for the date of our arrival. They kindly offered to meet with us at the airport and take us to the villa. The car rental company also met us at the terminal and completed all formalities in a few minutes and helped us avoid the lines all the other visitors had to go through. We are by now used to touched-up photographs and fake reviews. The villa was perfect and richly deserves all the recognition it has received as one of the most spectacular villas in the world. The villa was beautifully maintained with a view was to die for. Anastasia had stocked the fridge up with complimentary food and drinks. Not only that, they helped take our luggage to the rooms and patiently drove us to the nearest supermarket. My brother and his family were coming only that night. Given their unfamiliarity (the villa is less than 30 minutes from Heraklion airport), our hosts kindly agreed to go back to the airport at night and help guide my brother to the villa.When my brothers’ car rental company failed to make available the promised car, I called Audrey at Luxury Villas. Within a few hours, we had a rental car at the villa. Amazing service indeed! Audrey and Eva introduced us to a private chef who came and cooked a memorable meal one night.Anastasia and Antonis do not rest on the laurels of their beautiful property. They are one of the kindest, most caring and thoughtful hosts you can ever meet. We had some wi-fi trouble (Greek telco’s fault), Antonis came twice to fix the problem. We wanted some sea-sickness pills for the jetboat to Santorini or a cough medicine for the two year old. Our hosts are also pharmacists and came by with pills within a few hours. As the instructions were in Greek, they neatly wrote the relevant information in English. Any question, they responded almost immediately or came by to help. When it came to leave, we had insufficient space in our two cars to take the luggage. Anastasia and Antonis came to the villa, collected some of the luggage in their own car and dropped it to the airport. Truly extraordinary customer service and warmth.We would wholeheartedly recommend our friends to book through Luxury Villas and enjoy the amazing views and wonderful hospitality of Crete and Blue Key Villa.
