Our family stayed at Villa Omikron in July’17. The villa was newly completed early 2017 and was recommended to us by Audrey at Luxury Villas on Crete. We were not disappointed. The owner Mr Markakis welcomed us at the villa on arrival and visited us on our day of departure – tell him we have already used the Cretan cook book he kindly gifted to us!. The villa grounds were wonderful – from the magnificent swimming pool to the outside dining areas and the fantastic sea and city views, it was a memorable experience. The quality of the villa interior was of a high standard, as was the state of the art air conditioning system, which ensured an even temperature that suited us all – especially at night. There are great local tavernas that were recommended to us, (Limanaki in particular) and we also experienced great restaurants in nearby Heraklion. This was a truly 5 star experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet break in luxurious surroundings. As usual, many thanks to Nikos who’s excellent car hire service chaperoned us to and from the villa in a separate car (with our luggage), and the wonderful meals cooked for us at the villa by Eleni and Yiannis. Lastly a big thanks to Audrey, Eva and the team at Luxury Villas – great service again!
