Absolutely loved Greece and Crete and plan to come back. Our group of seven (two families with four adults and three teen-age kids) stayed at Villa Omkiron for four days in July 2017. It was our first time in Crete and we immediately fell in love with the island. Staying in such a spacious, clean, bright and relaxing villa was the perfect backdrop as we explored the island. The owners met us upon our arrival and were so welcoming and kind. They left lots of treats for us to enjoy, including home-made baking.The villa is so spacious there was lots of room for all seven of us.We especially loved the pool, the huge outdoor balcony (with about four separate seating areas including a hammock) and the wood burning pizza oven. My husband loves to make homemade pizzas so we took advantage.  Just up the road (about a five minute walk if that) is a great authentic Greek restaurant where we ate twice. The owner (Nic) was so kind and generous and kept giving us complimentary food. Loved the villa and would definitely come back to explore more of the island.
