We decided to have a special family vacation at a special location. After an extensive search, we found this place. In short, it exceeded our expectations and our memories are filled with indelible impressions. Although a little difficult to find, the villa, the location and view are stunning. We weren’t too impressed by the neighboring villages but, then again, who needs to spend any time away from the villa except perhaps to go shopping and to an occasional restaurant. A drum - roll drive through the gate and down the beautifully laid driveway with the framing cypresses make the first - time visitor’s expectations even higher. Driving a round the corner, the expectations are exceeded as soon as the sea, the Akrotiri peninsula, the villa and the pool are exposed. It is quickly apparent that much thought and dedication went into designing the villa. The workmanship and materials are excellent. This can also be seen in the spacious bedrooms, each having their own modernly designed bathroom. The entire property including the main villa, the guesthouse, the many terraces, the outdoor kitchen and the pool were immaculately clean. The outdoor kitchen includes a large built - in BBQ and wood oven making the chore of preparing meals an absolute joy. In the surrounding garden, there is little randomness. The myriad of plants, flowers, herbs and shrubs look like they are groomed daily. The many brick and gravel pathways invite the guests to explore the vast property. A pétanque court, among the olive trees and overlooking the sea, is also a very nice feature in the garden. And then there is, of course, the infinity pool. Perfectly in balance with the house. Beautifully designed and built. Sheer perfection, there is nothing we can think of that could make it better. Finally, the staff involved with the villa (cleaning, technical, gardening, management) are amazing and most friendly. We encountered some technical issues, but they were instantly and eagerly involved to resolve them as quickly as possible.
