We recently spent a week at Villa Calypso in May half term. The location is breathtaking - out on a remote headland, with the villa built into the rock face and looking out over the sea. You fall asleep listening to the waves. There is a private path down to the sea and a yoga platform. There are other villas in the same complex but they are all far enough apart that you are not disturbed. The villa itself is spectacular - super luxurious and high-end, with lots of outdoor space and a gorgeous pool and jacuzzi. Our kids (10 and 7) loved the whole thing, particularly the hand-delivered breakfast each morning full of Greek goodies. Staff are unobtrusive and charming. I would say the villa is not suitable for children under 5 as there are many steps inside on various levels. The only negative (and it's a very minor one!) is that it's a fair way from local tavernas and mini marts, and the nearest sandy beach is about half an hour away. But it really doesn't matter when you stay somewhere as beautiful as this as frankly, we didn't want to leave very often! Highly recommended for a secluded, chilled out getaway on this beautiful island...
