Our group of ten people (five couples) had a fabulous experience recently at Villa Epavli. The home is perfectly situated just outside of the city of Heraklion overlooking the ocean so it provides a wonderful escape, but is also close to anything you might need or want. The house manager, Stavros, met us upon our arrival and showed us every lovely detail and amenity the house offered. He was immediately responsive to any question or request, no matter the time of day. It seemed like his answer to every request was "O.K., no problem." He arranged for an amazing private chef, Dimitri, provided local recommendations and arranged a driver to take us to dinner in town. Mary cleaned the house daily and was an absolute treasure. She is so very kind and took great care of us. Having her services allowed us all to truly relax and feel pampered. The home is exactly as pictured - truly stunning. Each couple thoroughly enjoyed their room and we loved spending time in the pool and swimming in the ocean at the house so much that we ended up having Dimitri and his lovely son cook for us all but one of our nights. We just didn't want to leave our little slice of heaven. We cannot recommend Villa Epavli enough.
